The problem is, our needs escalate everyday even before we get to hold on to that much sought after salary raise. We wish for a better life for our family and for ourself, but when we get there, we find out that it is never enough and that there is more to life than what we have now.

<strong>it is because of the knowledge we have. i once read, "the wider the island of knowledge, the longer the shoreline of wonder.” life is always simpler for the less educated especially those who are living in the rural areas. they don’t need much and certainly they don’t get an annual raise. it is also not fair to say that they don’t wish for a better life for their family because i personally think that what they have is actually better than us living an urban life. i’d day the keyword for what they have is contentment. and for that they are a lot happier than us who thought that it is the other way around. i should know, i have lived that life before i was well educated.
